The preliminary hearing for Laferney and Hunigan will be June 12, 9:00 at the courthouse in Jonesborough, TN. Please come by 8:00 with signs, balloons, etc. - whatever you think will help bring attention to this situation. We will gather outside the courthouse, and I hope to get the media to attend. The preliminary hearing is being held to determine whether the prosecutor has enough evidence to justify further criminal proceedings. We need this initial victory!!! All signatures will be given to the prosecuting attorney before this date. If we can hit 10,000, that would be incredible and fantastic!
In the meantime, please DO NOT support Duck Donuts in Knoxville, TN. Laferney also owns this franchise. Her relationship is suspended, but not severed - yet.
