Thank you to all those who have signed the petition thus far. We will let the petition run for a couple more months to gather further signatures. In the meantime, I just received my drone back from repairs and found 5 active encampments in the Dunes, 3 of which are located in the old 5th street site. The city had numerous fire, police, and medical responses to this area for quite a few years (which means tax dollars spent) and PROMISED us after the 2024 cleanup (with a fee of around $1M) that the area would be actively patrolled and that this WOULD NOT happen again. Well, its happened.

The coastal trail initiative in part seeks to resolve this issue through a formal "Park" designation. Once again, thank you for your participation.
