The Indus Peace Park Society President, and a number of Directors will travel to India and Pakistan to meet with high officials to discuss the donation or purchase of land (500 acres straddling the India-Pakistan border in Punjab).
Plans are to meet with the Pakistan Governor of Punjab and the Indian Chief Minister of Punjab. We will be visiting many Rotary Clubs and multi-district events to spread word about our initiative. In addition, we will be presenting at the District 3070 Conference.
Our journey begins in Delhi, moves north and, after 10 days, crosses the Attari-Wagah border into Pakistan. From there we travel to Lahore, Multan, and then depart from Karachi.
We launched the initiative in the Houses of Parliament in London on March 4, 2019.
We spoke at the Rotary World Peace Conference in Ontario, California, on January 18, 2020.
