This is a student-led community initiative to address a major social/ environmental /political issue in South Africa which is land pollution. We thank you for your participation in this initiative to combat land pollution in Cape Town. Although this petition is currently focused on addressing land pollution in Cape Town, it is our end goal to create a national movement focused on pressuring local, provincial and national government to take sustainable action in addressing what is one of the dire environmental problems of the 21st century.
