I am writing as a distressed individual burdened by the care of an overwhelming number of pets due to others' irresponsible actions. Watching these innocent lives suffer as a result of people's carelessness is intolerable. We are facing a grim reality where thousands of dogs are euthanized and left homeless due to overbreeding and unethical selling. It has to stop!

Around 670,000 dogs are euthanized in U.S animal shelters every year, according to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). This disturbing figure highlights an urgent need to address the issue. By outlawing the breeding and selling of dogs, we can substantially decrease the number of homeless dogs and those being euthanized, thereby creating a safer environment for animals and reducing the emotional burden placed on animal lovers.
