Initially, the players were given a 3 day suspension as punishment on 5/17/18. People in the community planned to protest against the light punushment on Monday, 5/21/18. Sunday night before the march, we received news that the Superintendent reversed the decision. In the end, the Salutatorian was stripped of his title, all returning students will be prohibited for playing sports for a full year, AND none were able to attend graduating ceremonies. Thank you all for having human decency to stand up against racism. Racism isn't funny and no one but racists think its a joke. I appreciate your support.
