Greetings Supporters,

This week, Professor Emeritus Tribe generously responded to my request for his opinion on this petition. He was skeptical that such a plan would work, but admitted that he did not have time to fully explain why. I asked him, at a future date when time allowed, to identify any legal barriers that would impede such an effort to close this obvious point of vulnerability in our justice system.

I, like so many, have tremendous respect for Prof. Tribe's experience and his current efforts to protect our democracy. It will be very interesting to know why he thinks this can't be done, and if he shares additional information, I will post it here.

If you are like me, hearing that something can't be done just strengthens my desire to accomplish it.

The first step in this cause is to collectively state that allowing appointees to judge appointers is wrong, and your voices are accomplishing that. Great job!

Thanks to all our supporters, and keep spreading the word.

Chris
