Under the BIP restructure of The University of Melbourne, the Louise Hanson-Dyer Music Library will cease to exist in its current state. It is one of the most comprehensive music libraries in the southern hemisphere, and its staff provide an invaluable service to students, educators, researchers and musicians. Under the proposed changes, the integrity of this library will be compromised. Moreover, insufficient communication has denied students a proper chance to voice their opinion.
