Pressing on towards 40k!

Good day everyone! Before anything else, I'd like to tell you that I started this petition with no expectations at all. In one side of me, I hoped that this would trend, but the other side was ready to accept any of the two sides of the coin. In fact, this petition was pretty dormant and didn't get any new supporters at all for 2 weeks. It only had 1 supporter, and that of course would be me. Talk about "sariling sikap". But, thanks to all your effort, diligence and time, we, so far, gained the following: 15 new supporters 4 days ago, 83 new supporters 3 days ago, 1,272 new supporters 2 days ago 27,337 new supporters yesterday (still shocked at this) 8,899 new supporters as of writing (today's value takes time to update though, so it isn't that accurate) I am dumbfounded by how this started as a "trip lang" one evening, and then spread like wildfire the following day. I never realized how many people shared the same sentiments and desired for change. All your comments really embody the outcry of the Filipino people to put an end to this habit of oppression. But now that we're here, I hope that we all keep the fire burning and not just forget about this topic after signing. I sincerely do hope that everyone, whether you're a license holder or not, would continue to share this petition all the more until all the people concerned, not only in the Philippines, but across the globe would get a chance to read it, reflect, and decide whether to sign or not. You may not be a PRC license holder, but still you are a human being with a heart that can feel the burden we are carrying. This petition wasn't made with only my profession in mind. This is for any professional - teachers, engineers, dentists, architects, nurses, accountants, master plumbers and all people duly licensed by the PRC to practice their profession. That professional may be your friend, your mother, the nurse on a 16-hour shift to take care of you, your former favorite teacher, your grandmother's therapist, or the doctor that saved your father's life.
