Ho everyone, it’s Juli here. Unfortunately, our letter to Sajid Javid from our MP, Tommy Sheppard, has been responded to by Caroline Nokes, the Minister of State for Immigration. She was very rude in her response and was firm in her stance that the refusal will not be over turned and there will be no intervention on the matter. This means our only option is to apply again. 

Unfortunately, the application fees are very high and with all of the money we have already put into applying three times already, we do not have the funds for a fourth application. We have set up a GoFundMe page to help with the costs. Although we have previously set up a fundraising page, we were not prepared for the refusal, especially when our lawyer firmly believes that an error in law has been made. 

As Tony and I are very proud people, it is extremely difficult to ask for financial help. But as they say, desperate times call for desperate measures. If you can find it in your heart to donate, we would greatly appreciate it. If we cannot find the money, we are unsure of how much longer we will be separated. These last 7 months have been hard enough without the added stress of this financial burden. If you cannot donate, as we understand money is tight for everyone these days, please help us by sharing the fundraiser. 

Thank you again for all your support. I don’t think Tony and I would have survived without the endless support we have been receiving from this petition. We will continue to fight for us and for everyone who is separated from their loved ones solely due to these inhumane policies.
