Juli and I have been so overwhelmed with the support we have received for our petition! We wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who has signed the petition and shared our story. Although this situation is very stressful and hard to deal with, it makes it a bit easier knowing we have the support of so many people. 

We wanted to ask everyone to help us with the next step, which is to bring this petition to the attention of the Home Office and Sajid Javid. We are asking everyone to tweet the following:

Our plan is to bring attention to how many people think this policy is discriminatory and cruel. We want to see families together, not separated due to an arbitrary number. Recently there have been many stories in the news regarding the hostile environment the Home Office has created and we need to let the government know that we will not stand for this anymore! With everyone’s help, we will be heard and we can make a difference.
