The 28th October 1986 was the day Jeremy Bamber was wrongly convicted on a 10:2 majority. This has led to one of the worst Miscarriages of Justice in British Legal history. Had all the information been shown to them they may well have come to a very different conclusion and Jeremy would have walked away a free man. To this day Essex police are withholding vital information and this is why this petition was started. It is not fair or right that a Jury are expected to make a vital decision on a person's life under these unacceptable circumstances. For thirty years Jeremy has maintained that he is innocent and the available evidence which has come to light certainly verifies this. But much of this new evidence requires forensic investigations to enable it to be used for a third historic Appeal to the CCRC.
