On 12/9/09,I was arrested at my home in Philadelphia for a crime that allegedly happened in (union county) Elizabeth, N.J.on 10/28/08. from the time of my arrest,I've only been to court once for my arraignment in March of 2010, and not again until January of 2015, which was right before trial was to start,5 years later.
the evidence in the case was all circumstantial and mainly based off of cell phone tower cites records, for which was obtained without SEARCH WARRANT and A SHOWING OF PROBABLE CAUSE. no eye witness to any element of the charges.
there's no evidence about me or my involvement in this case, and even after over 50 witnesses, and due to the prosecutor improperly infecting the jury, the judge had to announce a STIPULATION to the jury, that "no one will come into this court room that will put me in NewJersey".numerous of my constitutional rights were violated and disregarded and all of my pretrial motions were denied. my attorney didn't do anything for me to help me better fight the case.he wasn't coming to visit me to discuss what was best, didn't challenge the what I was asking of him, nor did he investigate witnesses on my behalf and after five years of my attorney being on my case, then a few weeks before trial, he made me go to trial with a different attorney from his firm, whom didn't know much about me case, contrary to the advice from the attorney. I am asking for a show of support in getting one of the innocence organizations to help me get a fair review of my wrongful conviction, and a fair review in my process moving forward to gain my freedom back. when you are in these type circumstances, you are voiceless, but while the prosecutor and courts use their resources to control the narratives and put false facts and accusations in the media, and for which they rarely held accountable for when its done in misconduct for the sole purpose to get a guilty conviction rather then fulfilling their whole oath which is to see the innocent people don't go to jail and to the neglect, people like myself are used as a beneficial stepping stone in a profession, and at the expense of a human life being lost. While fighting this case through court paperwork/filings,I've still haven't been able to get the courts to pay attention to the blatantly clear wrongdoings by the lower courts and prosecutors, which is enough to get my freedom back.
