Bring Easter back to our school

With virtually no announcement or notification, Batemans Bay Public School renamed their annual Easter Hat Parade, replacing the word 'Easter' with 'Happy' after a parent allegedly called the school and expressed their outrage at the supposedly offensive, culturally exclusive festivity.
'Why bring it back?' You might ask. 'Why change it?' should be the question.
Easter has been celebrated in the western mythos for centuries, it is deeply ingrained in Australian culture. Everyone has and should have the right to partake in it according to our constitution and tradition.
The claim that celebrating Easter in a public school is exclusive of other religions is simply untenable, especially when considering the hypocrisy of the claim; "When celebrating Easter, you are excluding the practice of other religions" with this logic it is impossible to celebrate anything.
Regardless this kind of nonsensical political correctness has no place in the public of Australia and especially not in a place of learning.
