A charter school is a free public school open to all interested resident students.  

Legends is a proposed K-8 Public Charter School serving the student of Prince George’s County, MD.  We have submitted our Charter School Prospectus to the Prince George’s County School Board, and we need your help to make sure our application gets approved!

Legends School Mission

In partnership with students, parents and the Prince George’s County community, Legends will provide an advanced liberal arts college preparatory education, emphasizing financial literacy supplemented with Blended Learning to personalize scholar’s learning experience.

Legends Public Charter School will offer families in Prince George’s County a different type of public school for their children

• Small school community
• Rigorous liberal arts academics
• A balanced curriculum of five courses taught by content experts

As a public charter school, Legends is tuition-free and serves all students, including students with special needs and English Learners.
