As many of you may be aware, seal hunting is a common practice in Canada that unfortunately takes place every year. 

Hunting season usually starts in May so as to allow seal mothers to finish nourishing their seal pups. 

However, this year, due to numerous pressures from hunting companies (not Inuits), they have decided to push forward hunting season as to start now. 

This decision means that baby seals are being killed (as of yesterday), while still being nourished. 

I am asking the government, and Prime Minister Trudeau to move hunting season to its original date as to allow seal mothers to finish nourishing their babies. 

I have sent numerous emails to both PM Trudeau and M. Dominique Leblanc in support of this petition and I ask that you kindly send emails too, and support this petition.
