The EU referendum gave the voters a choice between the status quo – with some minor modifications, yet to be implemented - and a vision of the future, subject to occasional hyperbole and uncertainty. With the vote to leave the EU, the next stage is for the UK to negotiate with the EU regarding the terms of exit.  Once these terms of exit are known, the voters will be in a much better informed position, better able to judge whether Exit or Remain is the right course of action. Therefore, we believe that the right course of action is to proceed along the path laid out by the democratic vote but to hold a second EU referendum once the terms of exit are known. This also permits time for the other EU member countries to make their positions clear and for the EU to decide if it wishes to do anything to help the UK remain a member.
