Trust Deficit in food items sold in market

Increasing trust deficit in the safety of food articles (vegetables, processed foods, fruits ...) available in the market is turning the clock back. There is now a visible trend of people trying to grow their own vegetables and fruits in their backyard or even terraces evidenced by the popularity of terrace gardens, kitchen gardens and so on even if one has a few sft of land in their premises. At least we know what is going into our system and not be carried away by illusions of organic food (green stickers) available in the market. When will our government make it expensive for adventurists to indulge in such practices
