I can't believe we are here in 2020 and nothing has changed in Family Court.  I have been campaigning since my own ordeal in 2014 and since then thousands of families have been subjected to this institution not fit for purpose.

Its not place for a family, they should remove the word family as or call it 'anti-family' as the processes do not support families, it destroys them.

Nothing good ever comes from pitching parents against each other in an adversarial system, it will just drive bad behaviour and abuse.  The family judiciary needs a complete overhaul.  It needs its practices looked at and they need to ensure that their is transparency.  And when I say 'transparency' I'm not talking about media reporting on all cases going through the courts, I'm talking about scrutiny of the cases, scrutiny of the staff within the court process, checks and balances to ensure that decisions being made in the current secret courts are just and fair.  Many are not from the stories I have witnessed.  This needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency, the courts are bursting at the seams and it due to over zealous social workers or abusive parents clogging the system with cases that do not warrant court time and they are getting through because cases are not being dealt with fairly!

Families should be supported.  Abusers should be managed and victims should be guided and empowered.

Please Boris Johnson if you do anything within your power now you hold the PM baton, look into this institution and give the people a full INDEPENDENT inquiry into the processes, people and decisions made in the Family Judiciary.
