Dear Supporter,

Many thanks for supporting our petition which asks the Government to engage with us on access to medicinal cannabis on the NHS, for children like Alfie, with refractory epilepsy.

We need to get to one million signatures by the next anniversary of the law change. This will be five years since clinicians have been allowed to prescribe yet only private access is available to some. This is hugely costly and means many already vulnerable families, are being pushed to raise funds or go to illicit sources of cannabis to help their children. Neither reduce harm or help support these desperate families.

So please help me, by sharing this petition, with every person you know, be it a friend, relative or work colleague and ask them to sign and share so we can reach our goal. 

By signing this petition, you know that you are doing something vital to help very poorly children, be listened to by our Prime Minister and his Government. We will present this petition to the Prime Minister in the hope that he will engage with us and try and find a solution to this terrible issue. 

As a quick update, Alfie remains seizure free, he is enjoying school and making friends. Most importantly he is not dealing with horrendous medical admissions into hospital and he is able to live a happy life. This is what we all want, for children like Alfie to be able to live their best life.
