to ask them to attend an important parliamentary event, as for the last three years children suffering from severe intractable epilepsy continue to cruelly be denied access to medical cannabis.

This event is hosted by the End Our Pain Campaign, to show support for the children with severe and drug-resistant epilepsy who are still denied access to NHS prescriptions for their life transforming medical cannabis.

It’s completely outrageous that these NHS prescriptions are still being blocked three years after we all fought together to get the law changed to make access to medical cannabis legal in the UK in 2018.

With help from lots of people, including the likes of you and others who kindly signed my petition, my son Alfie is one of only 3 children to have the benefit of an NHS prescription for the medical cannabis that keeps him safe, despite the 2018 law change. This leaves dozens of other families having to fund raise up to £2,000 a month for the only medicine that helps keep their child well. I therefore remain committed to help these other families who should not have to struggle to afford a medicine that has proved life transforming for their children.

Three years on, these families are at total breaking point and suffering both financially and emotionally. They continue to be passed from pillar to post and have been let down by the Government and the NHS. Please help them by urging your own MP to attend this event to ensure this 3-year anniversary point will be a catalyst for an urgent resolution to this crisis.

Please help us to help them. It is time that these families got the help they deserve.
