Emma Appleby has fought for months to get a prescription for medical cannabis for her severely epileptic daughter Teagan.
She’s been passed from pillar to post and refused at every turn. In desperation she’s raised thousands of pounds to go to Holland to get a prescription and the medicine there. But the Home Offhce refused to give her a compassionate import license and the medicine was confiscated when she arrived back in the U.K.
This is a devastating blow for Emma and Teagan, and a damning endictment of the way the new medical cannabis policy has been imolemented. The law was changed but families can not get access.
