We are all aware of the dismissal of the plea of one of the Civil Service aspirants, by the SC, about the "wrong" questions in CS Prelims of this year.
With all due respect, we would like to ask, how can a petition, which has a bearing on the future of lakhs of aspirants, cannot be taken to be in the "public interest"? What is the criteria, if there is any, for the petition to be taken in public interest? We also have a doubt, as to, how come the issue is being regarded as a question of "fundamental right"?
The answer to the above questions would certainly be "We don't deserve any answer".
This is how things work in India. It is this sorry state of affairs, that demands from us, to come forward and do our best make our voices heard by the Parliament and the executive.
It is urged to all, to go to the places of the MP's who belong to your constituency, meet them in person and urge them to raise the issue in the Parliament. That is the only way that seems feasible or workable as of now, as most of the hopes of justice have been demolished.
Let us keep working till the Monsoon Session.
