Rajya Sabha MPs had a heated debate on Private Member Bill for AP Special Status introduced by Congress MP KVP Ramachandra Rao with Congress MPs Kapil Sibal, and Jairam Ramesh accusing Union Minister Arun Jaitley of misleading Parliament. Congress protested Deputy Speaker Kurien's decision to shut down KVP Private Bill following which Rajya Sabha was adjourned.
