An appeal to the Prime Minister of India to prohibit burning leaves, wood, plastics and garbage by citizens.

The burning is harmful to the environment. It kills thousands of bees, insects, fireflies, dragonflies, butterflies, moths, birds and bird nests, small animals.The fume creates havoc to human health. Burning organic waste releases carbon monoxide, while burning plastics, tyres release dioxin. Carbon Monoxide and Dioxins cause myriad of health hazards to human beings.

Instead of burning garbage make compost using food waste, dry leaves, wood. Reuse and recycle plastic bags. Donate your discarded items to needy and NGOs who upcycle and recycle.
