Since last December he was transferred to a medium security institution, he is recovering in health and trying to plan to use the time and new opportunities for the best of his academic and professional development.

Momin spoke at the annual celebartion of the BlackDay celebrities and highlighted the struggle of freedom  and paid tributes to Nelson Mandela and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and it was well received by all at the institution. Also, Momin took initiatives in concert with the administration to plan, organize and deliver a three week seminar-workshop to fellow inmates on the procedures and application for futuristic parole. It was much needed educational development help to all the inmates and well attended.
