According to ET now, UPSC & Modi government are planning to reduce the upper age limit from 32 yrs to 26 yrs, (*Only for General Candidates)
No reduction in upper age limit has been prescribed for SC/ST candidates from the current 37 years.
According to ET Now, sources have said that the 32-year-olds are too old to be recruited in IAS, IFS and IPS.

This is seriously pathetic according to them 32yrs is pretty old to get recruited but for reserved candidates its pretty young for them to recruit at an age of 37 years.
