Petition Delivered to Prime Minister Turnbull

Thank you all for your support. This petition has now been sent to the Prime Minister, the Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP, in the form of a letter, with the signatures - and the many personal, and touching, comments - attached. Please see the link below for a copy of the correspondence that was sent. As a result, this petition will be closed later this week (1 June 2017). Thank you again for standing up, not just for the rights of LGBTI couples to get married, but also for our weddings to be treated exactly the same as those of cisgender heterosexual couples.
