Assisted dying bill C-14 tabled in Parliament

Dying With Dignity Canada

Apr 16, 2016
On Thursday, April 14, the federal government tabled new federal legislation for physician-assisted dying. The new bill rules out advance requests for assisted dying, but proposes the policy to be reviewed by Parliament in five years.
Victoria, B.C.'s Laura Phelps spoke with CBC's The National about what the option would have meant to her parents, who each chose to starve to death when they couldn't access physician-assisted dying.
