Khadim Rizvi is a different kind of muslim cleric. He uses slang words during his speech & that offends a lot of people. He staged a protest twice in Islamabad against the previous & current government over sensitive religious issues. His call was for a peaceful protest & he publicly denounced any kind of violence against any civilian. However, some violent factions used his peaceful protest as an opportunity to inflict vandalism on the streets all while he kept on asking his activists to restrain themselves. He is old & disabled & wheel-chair bound. The government of Imran Khan signed a contract with him accepting his demands but soon after that, Imran Khan arrested him along with hundreds of his activists for inflicting violence & destroying public property. This is even though he never asked to do so. His 90 year old friend Yousaf died in prison & he is also sick & could die any moment. Kindly sign this petition to get him released before this happens.
