Tamiera harrisPhiladelphia, PA, United States

A child was "legally" kidnapped from her home almost 18 months ago without a court order or warrant. Her soon to be adoptive mother Dr. Tamiera Harris fought back. She did everything she could to hold DHS in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania accountable for their actions. Unfortunately they rushed to close the case before they could be sanctioned for their wrongdoings.

For those of you who need a refresher of what they did see #JusticeforTamia In summary they came to Dr. Harris home and stated that a NET CUA employee called in a safety complaint alleging there was no carseat inside the home and no baby food for the almost 3 year old (only adult food). Dr. Harris produced receipts, video and pictures showing the child in her carseat. She also informed them that her toddler did not eat baby food and was happy, healthy and safe. Dr. Harris also attempted to submit her home surveillance to the court to show the workers knowingly falsified the safety complaint after she sent a email asking what the delay was in finalizing the adoption. The home video which had audio of the caseworkers confirmed the child and home was safe. However the Philadelphia family court informed her they would not accept the video which was placed on a USB drive to be viewed in court since they did not have the capabilities to store it in the record.

When Dr. Harris went to court to get her child back, the Judge kicked Dr. Harris privately paid lawyer out of the court room and would not let Dr. Harris submit the evidence. He stated Dr. Harris had no standing and no right to a lawyer. NET CUA and DHS subsequently kept the child in foster care for over a year eventhough the child's family attempted to get legal custody 3 times. Dr. Harris spent over $30,000 of her own money to fight for her daughter. Her daughter was injured in 3 foster homes under NET CUA and DHS watch. Tamia suffered face injuries, she was placed with a mentally ill child where poor Tamia had to always fight to defend herself and sadly she was also placed with someone who could not afford basic necessities. This little girl was legally kidnapped from a christian home where she was raised since birth in a loving environment. Her mother Dr. Harris valued being a mother more important than her career and businesses. In fact Dr. Harris walked away from two six figure jobs in order to fight for her daughter.

The Superior Court of Pa ultimately reversed the removal order stating DHS was wrong as peradoptive parents have standing to contest removals and the Judge erred in law when he kicked her lawyer out of the court room. Although the order was reversed by the Superior Court, the Judge rushed to close the case in order to evade NET CUA and DHS being sanctioned for their wrongdoings.

Thanks to your support, your prayers and Dr. Harris fight we are proud that this child did not get lost in this corrupt system of "legal kidnapping". Dr. Harris and her daughter were reunited after going almost a year without seeing each other.

Dr. Harris and her husband feel so blessed to have their only child back home. Tamia is doing better and so happy to be back home with her parents. The family is in therapy from this traumatic experience and working on their healing. Dr. Harris spends her free time helping families throughout Pennsylvania fight back against unwarranted child removals. She has been helping families for free. Dr. Harris is also pursuing a federal lawsuit to hold NET CUA and DHS accountable for their wrongdoings. Please keep their family in prayer.
