I have made contact with the council who state the following

this to me is not a valid reason there is no word of subsidence, falling down etc. 
it’s just lack of maintenance on the grounds that the council themselves cut.

I still feel strongly passionate in saving a much needed community building for both the young and old. Sneyd was built for education so let it serve its purpose.

I want to find out more in why apart from cuts in funding obviously, that they are making a decision without asking what the community want and also can possibly help in?
