We have had a number of listening sessions about the Adventure Fee subscription model since last weekend’s Council Coordinated Committee Meeting.
We are pausing the roll out and evaluating the plan and implementation at this time while we continue to receive feedback. We want to hear all of the thoughts, concerns, and suggestions that come to us and update the structure accordingly.
If you receive any questions or feedback regarding the Adventure Fee, please forward them to adventurefeefeedback@cacin.us . You can also share this email address if someone would like to contact the Council directly.
We value our volunteers, Units, and membership – and are working hard so we continue to be a strong, sustainable Council into the future.

Subject: Adventure Fee Update for Units
Dear Fellow Volunteer,
Last night, we had many discussions across our Council in Round Tables focused on the Adventure Fee program. If you were able to attend, thank you for engaging in those discussions. I am sure by now you have heard or are already seeing the materials that address our membership fees going forward. Changes in our fee structure, while necessary, are difficult during any period of time and we understand the impact this can have on families in your unit. As a Unit volunteer myself, I share the same passion and concern for the future of our organization.
We are pausing the roll out and evaluating the plan and implementation at this time while we continue to receive feedback. We want to hear all of the thoughts, concerns, and suggestions that come to us and update the structure accordingly. Feedback is a gift and we continue to receive and digest comments from all over our Council. We know how important it is to be transparent and clear. As we think about next steps, we want to make sure that volunteers have the information they need, but we think it’s important they also have a chance to be heard and incorporate that feedback before we move forward.
Therefore we are establishing an e-mail address that will capture the feedback centrally. If you have or receive any feedback regarding the Adventure Fee, please forward it to adventurefeefeedback@cacin.us. You can also share this email address if someone would like to contact the Council directly.
We want to listen to clarify and be transparent. We all care about our Scouting families and it’s critical we work together to deliver the best program possible.
