The RCT planning committee unanimously voted to refuse the application for change of use of the Fox & Hounds meaning it must remain a pub and cannot be converted to houses.

This doesn't mean that it's about to reopen but is a major hurdle crossed. 

We now have hope. Hope that the landlord will talk to prospective buyers (that are there). Hope that the valuation will now be a realistic one. A valuation aimed for a sale, not a housing project.
