Thank you so much for signing and sharing the petition.

We already have over 600 signatures. The response has been wide spread and varied, from professionals working in the field, teachers, parents, loved ones and patients.

Reading the reasons why people are signing, I realized that I need to clarify - this petition whilst is campaigning for the Centre to remain open and offering treatment for teens 13-18 ALSO wants the go-ahead of the proposed beds for young adults 18-24. The decision is not services for one group of people over the other. BOTH need help and support. The teens of today become the young adults of tomorrow.

I'm talking with my MLA Kelly Greene this Friday to see how she can help, and I'm writing to Jennifer Whiteside the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions her in BC. If you have the energy - please consider talking to your MLA about this.
