Just to let you all  know I’ve sent a Freedom of Information Request to WDC. I have asked that we as a community have sight of the Equality Impact Assessments that should have been done before any decisions were made to close Balloch Library and relocate it within the Balloch Schools Campus. As we have discussed over the past weeks, there are many negative impacts of this council decision ,both on the community and the school. By law these should have been considered by our local council and we are entitled to have sight of them. I’ve asked that we have an answer quickly due to the current circumstances. Thanks again to everyone the great community response to this outrageous WDC decision, a decision made with zero public consultation.
