As you can see we’re almost at 1700 signatures from local people fighting to save our community library . Many points were raised at last Wednesday’s meeting. , It was moving to see two parents from our community pleading our cause.  They told how  important it is to keep the library and its resources where it is and not compromise the safety of the children in this already packed campus building. They talked of their complete shock on hearing of these proposals and the absolute and total lack of communication. This Labour Party  need to be told lourd and clear that theres a limit to their powers, ultimately that limit comes from the community who elected them. Lomond Labour councillors know how we feel about it but they don’t give a damn. It was very telling that Martin Rooney did not speak directly at the meeting , hiding behind the aggressive Labour councillor from Clydebank. An account of last week’s meeting will be in this weeks Lennox. In the meantime we will continue to keep a close eye on developments at the school , we want no sneaky alterations done behind our back.. We will keep on fighting , it’s not a done deal. Please continue to share our petition
