Hi everyone, this evenings total is now almost 1000 signatures to retain the vital community library for the Haldane and Balloch. We must stop the ridiculous and  unsafe relocation to our local schools Campus. The meeting has been moved to the school assembly hall by one of our local councillors, I hope parents and protesters will manage to meet there tonight. One thing is for sure, the space allocation within the school is not enough for a library. Mr Rooney must think very little of our local parents if he believes they’ll agree to this without a fight. Let’s have a freedom of information motion to ask the council if the present site of our community library is sold already. If so then the consultation with parents is a sham. Also why was the local community not lettered and informed ? We must keep up the pressure on the authority to save our library , please continue to share , thank you
