Revised development permit for 310 Grossmans Road -
Hi everyone,
2 years ago you signed this petition to avoid the local habitat at 310 Grossmans Road, Torquay from being removed and destroyed. 310 Grossmans Road is zoned as having 'environmental significance overlay' for a very good reason - hundreds (if not thousands) of animals rely on the native woodland and old growth Messmate trees; animals include Black Cockatoo's, Echidna's, Tawny Frogmouth's and Kookaburra's.
I was advised yesterday that the developer has submitted a revised plan - reduced the proposed lots from 5 to 4 with significant vegetation removal.
We have been given until next week 16th October (8 days) to register any objections.
You can look at the application at Surfocast council in person, or online at:

I am concerned regarding the significant vegetation removal that this development plan will require and the effects on our Surfcoast region; our native woodland and animals that relie on our woodlands for survival.
