Can you spare a few minutes to make a stronger impact?

Thank you for caring and taking the time to sign this petition.

We are now up to 560 signatures - YOU'RE AWESOME!

What would make an even bigger impact is if you could personally email the Surfcoast council and told them why you object.  Your objections could be one sentence or a few dot points emailed to -> planningapps@surfcoast.vic.gov.au 

These are the main reasons why I'm objecting to planning permit application 23/0363 for 310 Grossmans Rd, Torquay:

• The native vegetation - on the property supports significant bird and animal life as well as serves as migratory gateways to other green belts in the Surfcoast area and beyond
• The old growth trees - found throughout this property - support carbon emission absorption at far greater rates than younger trees
• Native woodlands and greenbelts are diminishing in Surfcoast and all over Australia; this is impacting animals and their ability to survive
• This property is zoned as having 'Environmental Significance' overlay for really good reasons and needs to be protected and native habitat left intact
