Next Planning Board meeting December 16, 2024 at 7pm (NOT 7:30) at the Community Center. 

Please be prepared to present your closing statements for the public portion of the McDonald’s application. The hearing may extend to the 18th, but given the board’s urgency to push this through, things could wrap up sooner than anticipated and we need to be ready to freely express our thoughts on the matter. 

This means that everyone who has opposition to this MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE ON MONDAY to give a statement. We don’t know how long you will be allowed, presumably 3-5 minutes per person. I know people have been supportive from home but you must be IN PERSON to make a statement. This puts your words on record and lays the grounds for an appeal. 

The board does not care how many people watch from their couch. This is it folks, Morris Plains’ last stand.
