We surpassed 500 signatures.The number that is needed for an epetition to be considered in parliament. Canadas House of Commons does not recognize change.org petitions. Something I just recently discovered. I also had an mp that was interested in bringing this petition to parliament, but the other day I received an email from her office saying they would not be supporting it. Almost dead just does not meet the criteria. Until a family member of someone with power is put in this position nothing will be changed and victims will continue to pay their abusers their hard earned pensions while they try to recover from the abuse.
