Guild Hall now one of the most at-risk theatres in the UK

An update for you, as earlier this week we revealed the Theatres Trust - a lobby group and organisation representing theatres across the country - has placed the Guild Hall on its list of at risk theatres. There's 39 of them, and the Guild Hall and Charter Theatre is now on it.

This has been hailed as a positive by the city council who say it helps put national focus and spotlight on the plight of the Guild Hall.

Thanks to everyone who has signed the petition, the Theatres Trust the other week were one of two organisations quoted in a council update about the Guild Hall (which said plans are still being worked up). It's interesting how they've become involved in recent months, as have the Arts Council.

It does feel the wheels are turning. Keep sharing.
