Good Monday, Ladies and Gentlemen!

The battle continues.  Today, we're asking everyone to send a message like this one to the President.

Recent data shows that 75% of all borrowers aren't paying, and defaults are screaming upward.  The President knows this can't continue, and that student loan voters will be turning hard against the Republicans in the mid-terms if he doesn't do something, so I see a real shot for us here!

 
🙏 We are really needing people to either pitch-in to our Gofundme, or donate through the regular channels, folks. If 30 people could chip in $20, we'd be set for the week. Will you please help?

Great thanks to Michelle, Donald, John, Sean, Vincent, Carol, Scott, Donna Lee, Carolyn, Jennifer and Elliot who helped over the past few days. Will you please join them? I truly believe that more people will begin financially supporting us going forward as long as we keep doing good work- we're seeing a big spike in new members over the past few months- but it may take some time for them to see that. I cannot tell you how important you all are for keeping us in this fight during these very difficult times...

👉 This week, we are sending strong letters to various university Presidents. They can no longer ignore us. I hope and pray and believe that they will come around to agreeing that they have an obligation to volunteer, collectively, to do their part to ensure that bankruptcy protections are returned to these loans. Just the wealthiest 5 schools could pay half the cost of bankruptcy discharges and barely even notice it. They are THAT wealthy!

Will you also consider sending such a letter to your alma mater? I'm trying to determine whether we should make this a group project, so please let me know-
