It's going to be a tough year...probably our toughest year ever. I truly hope that you resolve to fight far harder this year...we're going to need each and every one of you doing your part. When that happens, we win. Easily.
This group has done very big things in the past. Don't forget that it was this petition that launched the concept of cancelling student loans into the national conversation. This group is responsible for all the good bankruptcy legislation to happen for student loans in this country. We've done very big things, but we need to do our BIGGEST THING THIS YEAR.
I know we can do it. With your effort, this problem will be solved by July 4th. That's what I'm shooting for.
Please...take this seriously, and let's FINALLY SOLVE THIS...for ourselves...AND FOR THE COUNTRY!
