Importantly: we’re still needing 32 people to donate $10 or more by the end of the weekend. Will you please help? A restaurant worker in Boston has put out a challenge for people to do a monthly, recurring donation, which would cut down significantly on our fund-raising if successful. In his words:
“...Alan, maybe challenge them to do a recurring monthly contribution like I do and have for many years now. Sure, most people are cash-strapped and struggling, but they could pay something in place of that loan that is going to good use!
I lost work during the pandemic, had housing problems, had to move and change jobs and still managed $50 a month. Not that I am so awesome, just as a reference point.”
