Everyone-

I'm very glad to report that our House companion bill to return bankruptcy rights to student loans is coming out and being debated on Thursday at 1pm Eastern Time.

This is what we've been waiting for.

Having the leverage of bankruptcy returned to us is what is absolutely critical for getting any sort of meaningful solution to this problem.  It is, by far, the most important thing we have going- far more important than the cancellation announcement we got from Biden recently.  Anyone and EVERYONE with student loans should be fighting for this bill, but we are the only group of significant size in this fight.  We are the pioneers. 

Have a look at the committee members.  Are any of these people your representative or do they represent your state?  If so, you should be going out of your way starting on Monday to pressure them to support this legislation.

We'll be rolling out daily actions between now and then aimed at this. Please step up and do your part by doing them every day.
