President Biden just extended the student loan repayment moraorium through January 31, 2022.
Will you MAKE IT A POINT to get at least 5 people to sign the petition over the next week, and retweet this to at least 10 well-chosen people? When everyone does this, we'll have over 6 million signatures. If we do that twice, we'll be right where we need to be.
Make no mistake: No money was "drawn from the Treasury" to make this happen, just like cancelling student loans. Yet it is considered to be a cost. So this is PROOF that the President CAN cancel federally owned student loans by executive order!
The longer they put off starting up the lending system, the harder it becomes. This also gives us time to grow the petition to a size more appropriate to the size of the problem. There is true power in numbers, and we are becoming an unstoppable force!
