Hey Everyone-

We are changing it up a bit for today's action.  In particular, #3 is really important.  Time to take this battle to the states!  Please do these quick actions:

1.  Retweet this.

2.  Retweet this.

3.  Find your state legislator.  Send them this report.  If they are republican, also send them this.  Tell them that most student loan debt is federal and can be cancelled without needing anything from the US Treasury, or adding to the national debt.  Ask them to consider introducing a bill calling on President Biden to cancel student loans by executive order.  If they ask for more information, give them our email address: justice@studentloanjustice.org.  We'll be happy to take it from there-

#3 above is so important.  The states need to stand up for us against this federal lending system.  It is their job.  They should be on our side.  I suspect that a good number of them have student loans of their own.  Will you do your part to make this happen?
