Thanks for signing the petition. Over the past year, we've brought loan cancellation by executive order to the top of the news, and it is now a very real possibility. That all started here, with this petition.
But we cannot rest. In fact, we need to up our game right now. Today, will you email one person you know, and get them to sign the petition? If you know 5 people with student loans, 4 of them are being wrecked, and will be glad to know about- and sign.
There is a real danger that we will get a partial, insignificant cancellation, and this predatory lending system will continue. We are now seeing, and will continue to see the masks fall away from the "swamp creatures" in Washington DC, where think tanks that we previously believed were fighting for us, are actually fighting for the other side. This is totally unacceptable.
The petition needs more than your signature for success. You should boost it, tweet about it, and paste the link to it all over the internet. Word of mouth is the best way we have to make it grow. Please commit do spending a few minutes per week on this. It will make ALL the difference!
